For ten years Mary managed her own successful "Art to Wear" jewelry business called Mélange with accounts throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.  Her line was primarily centered on hand sculpted porcelain and paper jewelry. 

Mary studied art at the Memphis Academy of Arts, Pasadena City College and Samford University.  She has taken workshops from nationally known artists Zolton Szabo, Georg Shook, Don Davis, Bill Carter, Don Andrews, Virginia Cobb, Robert E. Wood, Mary Todd Beam, Miles Batt and Maxine Masterfield.  She is an experimental artist working mostly in mixed media and figures in acrylic.

Mary's works can be seen at Artists, Incorporated, Vestavia Hills, Alabama or by contacting the artist.
Mary has been active in Art Associations in the Birmingham, Hoover, Vestavia and Mountain Brook areas of Alabama.
She is a Signature Member of the Watercolor Society of Alabama and charter member of Experimental Artists of Alabama.
She has participated in numerous local, regional and national shows where her art work has won many awards.
