Four years ago, Barb returned to fine arts,
painting full time and in all media. She lives in the Jasper,
Alabama area and is a member of the Vestavia Hills Art Association,
the Alabama Pastel Society, and the Watercolor Society. Recent awards includeOriginally from Michigan, Barb earned a bachelor’s degree in music from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in school administration from Michigan State University. Many years were spent raising a family and working as an educ a first place in the Vestavia Hills Art Show and a second place in the Watercolor Society’s National Online Competition. Two of Barb’s paintings can be viewed on the online exhibit under competition at: www.watercolorsocietyofalabama.org Barb is represented at The Lily Pond in Curry, AL and at 4 Seasons Antiques and Art in Bluff Park in the Birmingham area. Barb is interested in all types of painting and in all subject matter. She hopes that viewers experience a unique feeling for each piece of her art.
