earned her Master of Science in Art
Education from Florida International
University, completing her studies at
Cambridge University in England. She
also holds a Bachelor of Science degree
from Southeast Missouri State University
and has studied at the Kansas City Art
Institute.
Elizabeth devoted 12 years to
teaching high school and college level
art courses at Boca Raton Community High
School in Florida, where she served as
head of the Art Department for 8 years.
She was voted "Teacher of the Year" and
"Most Talented Teacher". More recently,
she taught at the Boca Raton Museum of
Art. All the while, she was creating and
exhibiting original artwork and refining
her artistic skills to fulfill her
lifelong creative passion.
After the birth of her son, she
retired from teaching to work full-time
as a professional artist, creating
unique acrylic mixed-media paintings.
Her original works have garnered
numerous first place awards. Her
paintings are in private and corporate
collections throughout the United
States, Canada, Mexico and New Zealand.
