Honor Treadaway

Biography Honor Treadaway has been painting, drawing and "making things" since she was old enough to get her fingers around a crayon and redecorate her nursery. She grew up in a home where she was exposed to the wonders of the Arts and Sciences, and given private lessons in art, ballet and music. Over the years Honor has raised a family, lived in four other states and one foreign country, traveled extensively, experimented with as many arts and crafts as possible, tried on divers hats, such as apprentice piano technician (tuner helper?), professional harpist and harp teacher, shop minder, herb gardener. . .Ms. Treadaway is currently a watercolor and collage artist, garden writer and holds a degree in Landscape and Ornamental Horticulture from Auburn University. She has been owned by many cats, who continue to insinuate themselves into her art. Ms. Treadaway's award winning work has appeared in various publications, regional shows and is included in private collections across the USA and abroad. She is a member of the Experimental Artists of Alabama (EAA), the Society of Arts and Crafts (SAC's), WAOAPOA, and the Elmore County Art Guild (ECAG).
